With over 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry Kristy’s area of expertise is making people feel comfortable and motivating them to do things they never thought possible.

 ‘I have trained clients in wheelchairs, living with bipolar, recovering from cancer, rehabilitating post injury or surgery. You name it, I’ve worked with it. I have also trained lots of people that have goals of just wanting to lose weight and get fit. My passion comes from my own personal journey of achieving weight loss and fitness levels I never through possible and suffering from depression and anxiety myself and having an understanding of working with NO motivation. My personal journey and years of hands-on experience have made me the trainer I am today – a knowledgeable, compassionate, experienced personal trainer.’

Why do you love what you do?

From a very young age I knew that I wanted to help people. I didn’t know how but I knew I wanted to help them feel better and to live better lives…and now I have a personal training business. I get to help people every day – lose weight, get fit, build muscle, get strong but, most importantly, I help people feel more confident, more energised and stronger – not just physically but mentally too.

What’s the quote you live by?

‘If it’s important to you, you will find a way. If not, you’ll find an excuse.’

What’s your favourite exercise? And which one do you avoid?

Favourite is the dumbbell snatch – it’s a full body exercise and makes me feel strong!

Avoid – I don’t like bicep curls, but I still do them …sometimes.

When not working, where can you be found, what are you up to?

You will usually find me at home hanging out with my girls Gertie and Gracie (my Aussie bulldogs) or with my partner taking ‘the girls’ to the beach.

What’s your special talent, quirk, party trick or special sauce that makes you awesome?

Not sure I have a special talent. People say I make the best salads- does that count?

What’s your favourite drink order?

Coffee!

If you had a spare $50 what would you buy, do, spend it on?

I’d probably buy new toys for me girls Gertie and Gracie.
